| Thank you for logging into ' The Teacher I(dea) Pod! I created this to allow my students, trainees and fellow educator friends to collaborate and share creative ideas for the classroom .We often lament how hard it is find inspiration when we need it (which usually happens in the dead of the night!) so I hope by browsing through the pages we can learn something from each other. Just one important note.. 'We will only receive as much as we give' so I hope you will share photos of your classroom displays ,games, stories or teaching ideas upon signing up as a member.Anything that you think will be helpful to teachers! I got these 2 scholastic video collections today (5 Apr'09) @ only $3 at Carrefour Suntec... Each vcd has 3 stories. The red one has 3 stories by William Steig and the green one has 3 stories by Kevin Henkes. Recommending it as i think the children will enjoy "seeing stories come alive" through the video animation, these are good stories and authors and its cheap!!!

To my DPE 37 Science teachers ,just to let you know I have converted all the science powerpoint slides to PDF files as it was too big to upload. Hope it will of use to you on your next trip! Take note that I will be removing this a month from now so ensure you save the documents before that happens. Take care! Miss you already!

Hi everyone! The International Museum Day will be celebrated in Singapore with a festival from 23-31 May. There will be free museum entries and activities for you and the family. Log on to www.museums.com.sg for more info! Lots of things happening especially over the weekends!
